| Details: | This quilt show is a fund-raiser for the Monroe County Historical Society and a Special Event for Missouri State Parks. It will take place in the Mark Twin Memorial Shrine in Florida Mo. This year's show will be held Saturday Oct. 4th 9:00 - 4:00 and Sunday October 5th 9:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. The theme is "The Spirit of America" and they are challenging quilters to enter quilts celebrating our nation's 250th birthday. They usually hang about 100 quilts but have room for more. The quilts will be judged by an independent quilt judge and prizes and ribbons will be awarded. There is a poster in the window of our Shop.
