Beginning Piecing Class with Carol - September 4 - November 6
Beginning Piecing Class: In this class you will learn 12 basic quilt blocks, decorative sashing and borders using only 3 fabrics. Carol will teach you the basics of sewing and start you on your way to making quilts. Class will meet for 6 sessions, every other Thursday from 4:00 pm – 8:00 pm starting on September 4th. Dates: September 4 and 18, October 2, 16 and 30, November 6 Cost: $120.00 Instructor: Carol Hall
Additional supplies/fabric needed for the class:
Book: Building Blocks Sampler Quilt – available at Quilt4U (this will be an additional cost of $15.00 - a great referance for new quilters)
Fabric: page 6 in book but fabric can be chosen on the first night
Sewing machine in good working order with manual, rotary cutter, cutting mat, 12” x 12” square ruler, seam ripper, fabric scissors, thread snips, Best Spray fabric spray, blue painter’s tape, good quality construction thread, pins or clips.
