Quilting Class on your Sewing Machine - Quilting on the Edge - ZOOM CLASS

Quilting on the Edge is a virtual program in which Linda shares her love of machine quilting with templates (rulers) and it features the Baby Lock/Westalee Exclusive Ruler Set. She will demonstrate how to properly set up your machine to use the ruler foot, how to use and care for the templates, tips and tricks for success, and several fun quilting motifs that can be used on a variety of projects. Linda will share her work to inspire you to use this technique to finish your own projects waiting to be quilted. Since it is virtual event you can learn from the comfort of your own home.

Supply list will be sent to you after enrollment.  You will need to purchase the Babylock Exclusive Rulers prior to the class.

Skill Level: Beginner
Skill Details: You should have a working knowledge of your sewing machine.
Requirements: You will need to purchase the Babylock Exclusive Westalee Ruler kit (if you do not own one) for the high shank or low shank machine thru Quilt 4 u at
Instructor Bio: Linda Bratten loves all things quilting and does her quilting on a domestic machine. She has taught in a variety of shops and guilds throughout the Midwest and on the national level at the Machine Quilters Showcase sponsored by The International Machine Quilters Association and at the MQX Midwest Show in Springfield, Illinois. She is an online instructor for Craftsy, and her class, Exploring Natural Quilt Motifs has been taken by over 3,000 students. In March of 2020 she became a National Educator for Baby Lock machines and products. Her Bronze Iris and Watercolor Rose quilts have traveled with a Studio Art Quilt Associates (SAQA) Natural World Exhibit. Her work has been published in the Quilting Arts and Designs in Machine Embroidery Magazines. Her ?Peacock Shawl? was one of five semi-finalists in the Bernina/Threads Magazine Machine Embroidery Challenge. While Linda?s quilts are ?Not like your grandmother?s?, her roots are deep into traditional quilting. These days she loves to mix different mediums and techniques to create unique one of a kind fiber art. Best of all she loves to share her knowledge and discoveries with others!
