Freezer Paper Piecing - Hot Air Balloons with Jeannie - Feb 22nd

Jeannie will show you how to sew the blocks using freezer paper.  Our last class filled so we are offering this class again.  (If the class fills, submit your name on the waiting list so we can determine if we should schedule another class.)

We will print the pattern for you on freezer paper and it will be available to you with the pattern on February 22nd.  You will need to bring:

An assortment of fabrics.  Jeannie used flannel on her first one (we don't recommend flannel but it was very pretty).  She recommends brights or batiks.

Sewing machine in good work order.
Extra needle...just in case
Mini iron (Dritz brand preferred)
ironing pad
Thread - neutral colors
Seam ripper
Small Mat & 28 mm rotary cutter
Add-a-quarter ruler
open toe foot
12 inch ruler to cut fabric (Do NOT pre-cut your fabric)
All other normal sewing supplies/machine feet etc.


3/4 yd total of assorted bright fabrics (8 - 10 fabric scraps - cotton fabric should be starched with best press) 
1/8 yard for basket
7/8 yard for inner/outer border
1 1/2 yd for background fabric
